You will surprised to know that mind is like a battery. It feels light when this battery is well‑charged. Peace, happiness, and love are also felt only when the battery is fully charged. When it is charged, we become givers. If it’s discharged, we become takers.
In every situation, it’s important to ensure the power of the mind doesn’t weaken. Today, look around—everyone wants happiness. So much has been accumulated, everything is available, the family is so good, health is fine—yet hands are still raised, asking for happiness.
Why are we unable to continuously experience happiness?
Because all day long, the things that come to us and don’t align with our expectations reduce the charge of the mind’s battery. Even if you have everything, but the power of the soul (mind) is weak, you cannot experience happiness. Because happiness does not come from external things.
When situations overpower the state of the mind, you lose. When the state of mind overpowers the situation, you will win. It is rightly said—“If the mind wins, we win.” We always keep saying that, “When everything goes according to me, I will be happy.” This means we want to win over the situation first, then win over the mind.
Whatever you see, let your mind perceive it beautifully. If you see good, the mind will feel good too. The mind must be trained. Only then will it see the good in everything.
If your mind is strong, you can face any situation and move forward.
