Keeping this quote in his mind Late Shri G K Balchandani started ‘Bookland’ with a very huge collection of Books and magazines in the year 1971 at the current location i.e. 75, Kutchery Road, Ajmer 305001 (Rajasthan). His moto was to quench the thirst of reading of every books lover by providing variety of books to them. He grew his dream to new heights and became top bookseller at Ajmer with the help of his sons. Bookland also started supplying books to school & College libraries and became library developer at this end. Now, his vision is being followed by the third generation in family business Mr.Sunil Kumar.
