Our- Story
Narayan Chaat Bhandar started way back in 1968 in Jhansi, when Shri Narayan Das Vijay Started selling tasty snacks to Suraj Prasad school students. They carried everything on their heads and served karela and paani batashe – two items that became very popular. Later, Shri Narayan Das Vijay’s sons, Shri Manoj Vijay and Shri Anil Vijay, joined the journey to grow the business. Slowly, they added more items to the menu like:

Matar Karela
Paani Batashe
Aloo Tikki
They started from a small, rented shop to serve more customers. As the business grew, one of the most loved additions later was the moong dal chilla. From that humble beginning, Narayan Chaat Bhandar is now a well-known, self-owned restaurant, loved by people of all ages. Today, it is proudly managed by the third generation – Oshit Vijay (grandson) – who continues the family’s tasty tradition.
Our Special Dishes
We offer a wide range of delicious and hygienic chaat items, such as: Aloo Tikki – Crispy and spicy potato patties with chutneys , Dahi Bada – Soft vadas in cool curd with masalas ,Matar Karela – A crunchy and spicy snack made with peas , Paani Batashe – Crunchy puris filled with spicy and tangy water , Moong Dal Chilla – Healthy and tasty lentil pancakes

Today, Mr. Narayan Das Vijay Ji’s story is an inspiration for every youth who wants to start a business. Currently, Mr. Vijay Ji’s third generation is running the shop. They are also planning to expand the business further, which is a great thing.
